Uig is a unique corner of Lewis with plenty of things to see and do - climbers, walkers, cyclists, sailors, divers, surfers, golfers, birdwatchers, photographers, artists, perhaps you have an interest in archaeology, wildflowers, fishing…………all lovers of the great outdoors ….so much to do. No need to do anything really. Wake up to the sights and sounds of the sea and venture down to the beach for a morning stroll, the haunt of oyster-catchers and gulls, and in summer the corncrake; and if you’re up really early maybe even catch glimpse of a pair of elusive otters.
